Jira task workflows in ServerDesk

Prepare Jira tasks, ask Robbie for an implementation plan, review changes, and generate Jira-aware commit messages.

Last updated: 16 June 2026

Prepare the task first

Prepare Task collects Jira context and proposes likely files, likely folders, a likely project root, branch naming, and a suggested implementation approach before you start editing.

Ask Robbie about the task

Robbie can summarise the ticket, propose an implementation path, highlight likely risks, suggest a testing plan, and list the files that most likely matter for the change.

Review and commit with Jira context

After editing, use Review My Changes to compare the current diff against the Jira task, then generate a Jira-aware commit message that includes the ticket key when appropriate.
