ServerDesk Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains how ServerDesk collects, uses, stores, and protects information when customers use the public website, create an account, connect servers, contact support, or use AI-assisted workflows.

Last updated: 16 June 2026

Read how ServerDesk handles account data, server credentials, telemetry, cookies, analytics, AI processing, support requests, and GDPR rights.

Account data and support records

ServerDesk stores account data such as name, email address, password hash, plan details, billing state, session records, and support history so the product can authenticate users, process subscriptions, and respond to customer requests.

Server credentials, telemetry, and AI processing

Server connection credentials are stored encrypted at rest. ServerDesk also records operational telemetry such as request logs, connection activity, editor and terminal events, and service diagnostics that are necessary for security, reliability, abuse prevention, and support. When AI features are used, ServerDesk sends the minimum relevant text context needed for the requested analysis through backend-controlled provider calls.

  • Server credentials are encrypted at rest
  • Telemetry is used for reliability, security, and support
  • Binary files, images, PDFs, SSH keys, and secret values are excluded from normal AI context

Cookies, analytics, and GDPR rights

ServerDesk uses cookies and similar storage for authentication, session continuity, preference retention, and product analytics. Customers in the UK and EEA may request access, correction, deletion, or export of their personal data, and may object to or restrict certain processing where applicable. Privacy requests can be sent to privacy@serverdesk.dev.
